If you are finding it hard to deal with a disclosure of sexual violence from a loved one, we can arrange telephone support in the first instance and sometimes even a few sessions will help you feel heard and acknowledge the impact this has had on you too. We hear often how parents, partners and close friends just want to ‘say the right thing’ and ‘don’t want to make anything worse’; we can help equip you with some things you can do to help support someone. There are lots of resources we can provide which will help you understand what they may be experiencing and help you to support them going forward.
If you’d like to arrange a support call to find out how we can help, call 01698527003.
If you are in crisis and need to speak to someone in the evening you can call the National RCS Helpline 08088010302, open 6pm-12am.
